‘Chicago P.D.’ Fans ‘Can’t Wait’ for Season 13 After Seeing First Photos of ‘Amazing’ New Cast Member on Set originally appeared on Parade.
Benjamin Levy Aguilar teased fans with a first look at Chicago P.D.’s newest cast member, and fans can’t wait to see what the “amazing” new member of the team brings to the table.
Following the loss of two former cast members, Shawn Hatosy as Deputy Chief Charlie Reid and Toya Turner as Kiana Cook, the series welcomed The Night Agent’sArienne Mandi ahead of Season 13 in the role of Officer Naomi Kerr, who is said to be a former soldier and military contractor.
The beloved, returning star took to Instagram on Friday, July 25, with a photo and video of the two caught out in the rain together, as well as another snapshot of the newcomer posing at the foot of the steps to her trailer, throwing a peace sign to the camera.
“Welcome to Chicago Ari muff!” the actor captioned the carousel. “Cant wait for all of you to see her in action! 💪 🎥.”

Fans were already counting down the days until the series returns, and Aguilar’s latest post only served to hype them up further.
“Wow wow wow OMG 👏👏👏,” one exclaimed, while another gushed, “I LOVE THIS SO MUCH.”
“Can’t wait welcome to my favorite show 🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” one commenter extended a warm welcome to Mandi, with another reiterating, “Hi Ari welcome to Chicago One can’t wait to see you an action with fabulous crew👏🏼👏🏼😍.”
“She is amazing,” someone else complimented. “I watched her in the night agent and she was by far the best!”
While there isn’t much to go on regarding her character yet, some pointed out that the pair “look[s] good together,” hypothesizing that there might be “a romance coming!”
But, as another noted, they also looked like they were thinking that there’s “nothing like being with a true best friend.”
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see where the writers take her!
