Dancing With the Stars alum Cheryl Burke has fans rallying around her after she shared a message to the social media critics.
Burke came under fire on social media for her appearance, with trolls speculating she was on Ozempic or had altered her look.
However, the former reality TV star made it clear that neither was true. She also took aim at the negativity taking over social media platforms these days.
““I’m not on Ozempic. I’m not sick. I didn’t get “a new face.” Stop dissecting women’s bodies like they belong to you. This is YOUR reminder: I don’t owe you an explanation for my healing or for anything quite frankly. Let this be the last time I have to say it,” she declared in the caption.
The comments section of Burke’s video, where she spoke her truth, was flooded with love and support.
“Honey silence, the haters, you look amazing,” wrote one fan, while another added, “If people are talking it means you’re doing something right and they’re just jealous! Keep shining!”
Another fan referenced a comment Burke made about the person she was years ago on DWTS and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody no longer existing.
“The only thing I miss about “old Cheryl “ is watching you dance. You do you!!!” said the fan.

Other positive comments for Burke included, “You’re stunning now and then!!!” “Telling it like it is!! Yes Girl Yes!” and “Cheryl you’re beautiful.”
Several fans gave Burke props for promoting positivity and advocating against body shaming.
“Thank you for speaking up to advocate for yourself. The public can be so mean,” wrote one fan. A different fan stated, “Be You – your honesty and healing is good for us to hear.”
There was no shortage of support for Burke, but not all commenters rallied around her.
“Maybe not Ozempic, but Wegovy, Zepbound, something. And it’s ok. Nothing wrong with getting help to make us better. But to deny is exhausting too. And for the people that need help, you make it seem wrong,” read a comment.
Thankfully, though, most of the comments on Burke’s video showed the former dancer that plenty of people have her back and appreciate her honesty.
