As the first half of 2025 comes to an end, some restaurants have plans to open new locations throughout the country, Cheesecake Factory included.
The restaurant has already opened one new location this year, with plans for three to four more openings by 2026, Alethea Rowe, a Cheesecake Factory representative, told USA TODAY on May 28.
Getting its start in the 1970s in Los Angeles, the Cheesecake Factory ballooned into a casual dining chain with more than 350 locations across the U.S. and over two dozen international locations. The chain offers a wide array of cuisine and dishes, becoming known for it’s massive menu boasting 250 items.

Where has Cheesecake Factory opened new restaurants?
A new Cheesecake Factory location opened in early May in Lakewood, Colorado, about 11 miles west of Denver, Rowe said.

When asked about openings in 2026, Rowe said the company is always looking for “great sites,” but 2026 plans haven’t been shared yet.
