Charlamagne Calls Out ‘Liberal Media’ Double Standard Over Epstein

Radio host Charlamagne tha God on Tuesday suggested on his radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” that left-wing media is only covering President Donald Trump’s alleged ties to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein so intensely due to its bias against the president.

CNN and MSNBC covered Trump’s alleged ties to Epstein more than four times as frequently as they covered revelations from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard about the “Russiagate” scandal since July 18, a Daily Caller News Foundation review found on Friday. Charlamagne asserted on the “Front Page News” segment of “The Breakfast Club” that left-wing media outlets were ignoring former President Bill Clinton’s alleged ties to Epstein and would do so even if he were currently the president. “It’s just funny how the news works. Because Bill Clinton wrote a letter to Jeffrey Epstein as well for his birthday, but nobody’s talking about that,” Charlamagne said. “And Jeffrey Epstein had a picture of Bill Clinton in a dress, in high heels in his New York mansion, but nobody’s talking about that.”

The Wall Street Journal published an article on July 17 alleging that Trump sent Epstein a suggestive letter for his 50th birthday in 2003. The president denies sending it and has filed a lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch, Dow Jones & Company Inc., News Corporation and the two WSJ reporters who authored the piece.

The WSJ later published a Thursday article alleging Clinton also sent a letter for Epstein’s 50th birthday.

Epstein reportedly hung the painting of Clinton in his Manhattan home.

“My thing is this: I don’t care who’s on the list. Everybody got to go. Burn it all down. Like, that’s just simple as that. Mutually assured destruction,” Charlamagne added. “Whoever’s on that list need to go. Nobody needs to be protecting pedophiles. I don’t care what party they are.”

Journalist Morgyn Wood said she believed Clinton “would still be under scrutiny if he was the president right now,” but Charlamagne disagreed.

“No, he wouldn’t — because liberal media wouldn’t push the issue,” Charlamagne said.
