Cecily Strong made her triumphant return to Saturday Night Live!
During the May 10 episode of the late-night comedy sketch series, Strong, 41, made a surprise cameo when she reprised her parody of Jeanine Pirro, who President Donald Trump recently named as Interim U.S. Attorney in Washington.
Acting out her fan-favorite impersonation during the Cold Open, Strong joined James Austin Johnson as Trump to celebrate her newest role.
“I’m so proud to be a part of this group full of Russian assets, boozehounds and people famous for the little baby animals they’ve killed,” Strong’s Pirro joked.
Later, she even continued her long-running gag of spitting wine on Colin Jost, when the Weekend Update anchor joined her on stage to portray Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Strong’s SNL cameo took place five weeks after she welcomed her first baby, a girl, with her fiancé Jack on April 2.
The comedian shared her daughter’s birth news on Instagram a little over a week later on April 10, writing in her caption, “It’s been a week and a day with my beautiful squirmy baby girl.”
“I recognize all her little squirms and kicks from when she was on the other side of me and now I get to say ‘see what I was talking about!’ ” Strong continued. “She makes Robert De Niro faces and snorts when she is super determined on the boob. She’s gonna be stronger than me in about a week. Her squeaks and sighs are my favorite noises on earth.”

Without sharing her daughter’s name, Strong then gushed more over her newborn, writing, “Born with a full head of dark hair which made me scream ‘whoo hoo!’ while pushing. And I’ve been screaming ‘Whoo hoo’ every day since because she’s absolutely perfect and I won the lottery.”
