Carrie Underwood is delighting fans by sharing a sweet reunion photo of the American Idol class of 2005 on Instagram.
The current Idol judge was a contestant on the show that year and ended up winning the singing competition’s fourth season and eventually becoming a country music superstar.

She’s featured in the photo, posted on Tuesday, April 29, with several of the singers she competed against on the show that season, including Lindsey Cardinale, Anthony Fedorov, Constantine Maroulis, Vonzell Solomon and Mikalah Gordon.
“Loved reuniting with some of the @americanidol class of 2005 last night! #AmericanIdol#CUonIDOL#2005 ❤️🤩,” Underwood captioned the photo.
Some of Underwood’s fellow former competitors and fans were quick to share their thoughts on Instagram.
“I knew from the moment I met you – you were destined for great things… Watching you grow in so many ways over the last 20 years, albeit from afar has been a true highlight for me and my family… Here’s to the next 20 years Carrie Underwood! It was so lovely to see you… So grounded & such a good vibes on the day thank you! 🤘🏽🤠🤘🏽#iconic,” wrote Maroulis.
