Carly Rae Jepsen is celebrating her bachelorette party — in a wig!
From blonde to black, the “Call Me Maybe” singer, 39, has rocked a variety of hair colors and styles. For her bachelorette party, the bride-to-be turned her hair into her “something blue” by wearing a teal bob wig.
“Bachelorette party ‘twas a success! 💍,” Jepsen captioned a festive photo dump posted on Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

Jepsen wasn’t the only one with a colorful new ‘do. Several of her girlfriends donned white, green, orange, pink and ombre wigs. A baby even joined in on the fun by wearing a white shirt that read “Going to the Chapel” on one side and “& We’re Gonna Get Aunty Carly Married” on the back side.
A portion of the festivities took place outside, as the women gathered by a pool in one photo, without their wigs. An oversized diamond ring pool float could be spotted in another snap.
Party food included fresh strawberries, blueberries, watermelon and cherries, along with chips and salad.

Jepsen announced her engagement to music producer Cole M.G.N. via Instagram on Sept. 23, 2024, writing, “Very engaged over here 💍❤️.” In addition to shots of the couple, the Canadian singer-songwriter shared a close-up of her engagement ring, which features a dark gemstone and gold band.
On July 31, Jepsen joked on Instagram that she and her fiancé, whose real name is Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, were “fighting about cake.” Included in the “wedding things” photo carousel were various cupcakes and mini cakes, presumably different flavored options for their wedding cake.

Back in 2023, Jepsen opened up to PEOPLE about how she and Cole sparked a romance while collaborating on her album The Loveliest Time. She said her management paired the two together, and their working relationship soon grew into more.

Her album’s ninth track, “So Right,” was described as the couple’s “meet-cute.” The song even opens with a skit about whether or not it’s a “good idea” for them to hang out together after-hours.
“I would’ve been too shy beforehand to be like, ‘Do you want to do a skit at the beginning?’ But now that we’re so close, it was just really fun and playful to be like, ‘Let’s have this very ’80s drama skit at the beginning where you ask me if I should come over and I say no, but then I come anyways,’ ” Jepsen told PEOPLE at the time.
“You have to get to a certain level of comfort with somebody before you can get to those really playful, joyful, experimental places,” she added.
