Things got heated in the third period of Thursday’s matchup between the Vancouver Canucks and the Colorado Avalanche.
Canucks defenseman Elias Pettersson dropped his gloves with Avalanche forward Logan O’Connor in a spirited fight near the net. They exchanged a flurry of punches before Pettersson wrestled O’Connor down to the ice, bringing the bout to a close.
