WNBA star Caitlin Clark is spilling some tea about her conversation with singer Taylor Swift.

While speaking to ESPN for a May 13 interview, Clark mentioned she attended a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January 2025, alongside Swift, who’s famously dating Chiefs player, Travis Kelce. According to Clark, a Chiefs fan, Swift thoroughly enjoys watching the game.

“I think what people don’t always realize about people with a certain spotlight, whether it’s her, whether it’s me, whether it’s another professional athlete or a pop star, we’re real people. We’re just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night. She loves the Chiefs just as much as I do. I’m talking football with her. She loved it,” said the Indiana Fever player.

Clark also complimented Swift’s kindness, describing her as “probably one of the sweetest people [she has] ever been around.”

“And everybody says that when you meet her, but it’s really true. She just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great,” continued Clark while speaking to the publication.

Clark appeared on a January 2025 episode of Travis’ podcast, New Heights, co-hosted by his brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce. Clark shared that she has been a fan of the Chiefs since her childhood. The Des Moines, Iowa native said she would go to a Chiefs game every year with her cousins as a kid.

“My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up,” said Clark during the podcast interview.

She also said she enjoys Swift’s music and attended a few shows at The Eras Tour.

“It’s obviously a great show and a lot of fun,” said Clark to Travis and Jason.

She also said that her mother, Anne Clark, attended one of the Era Tour shows with her.

“I turned my mom into a full Swiftie now,” said Clark on the podcast episode.
