Busy Philipps Admits Her ‘Horrified’ Co-Star Had No Idea Who She Was originally appeared on Parade.
Busy Philipps just had an awkward encounter with one of her younger co-stars on the set of her upcoming movie Horrified.
In a hilarious Instagram story, the actress explained that although she was on set, she wasn’t actually working on any scenes as it was her daughter Birdie who was filming that day.
While waiting for Birdie to wrap for the afternoon, Philipps says she decided to keep herself busy by fixing a tear in her skirt with some help from the movie’s wardrobe department.
“I needed just a needle and thread from wardrobe because I had a little tear in my skirt. I can sew! I can fix my f–king skirt. I don’t need somebody else to do it,” Philipps explained on her story.

As she fixed her skirt while sitting behind the monitors, she happened to start talking to one of the film’s other stars — Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey. But as they continued talking, Philipps quickly realized that Jowsey had no idea who she was.
In fact, thanks to Philipps’ minor sewing project, he thought she was a part of the wardrobe department.
“And so I’m chatting with this kid. I mean, he’s 28 and adorable…Anyway, so he’s like, ‘How long have you been doing costumes?'” Philipps revealed.
She went on to say that she was doing costumes “just today” before revealing her true identity as one of the stars of the film. Thankfully, they both took the mistake in stride — and later snapped a photo together.
Horrified is set to follow a “down-on-her-luck scream queen who returns to the horror convention circuit for fast cash,” per Deadline. Unfortunately, along the way, the former actress finds herself face-to-face with a pig-masked killer from her old franchise, leading to a total slasher showdown.
The film does not yet have a release date.
