If you’re a fan of Burlington stores, there may be one opening near you soon.
Burlington has new store grand openings scheduled in 19 states, in addition to recently opened locations, according to the retailer’s website.
The company, originally called Burlington Coat Factory, opened its first store in 1972 in Burlington, New Jersey. The first store was operated out of a factory, hence its name. The company went on to open 29 additional stores between 1973 and 1982, and today has over 1,000 stores across the United States, according to its website.
Burlington touts itself as an “off-price retailer,” similar to stores such as TJ Maxx and Marshalls, and sells a wide assortment of brand-name clothing and shoes for men, women, juniors and kids, as well as products in the home and beauty categories.
