Brooke Hogan Reveals the Real Reason She Was Removed From Hulk Hogan’s Will originally appeared on Parade.
It’s been just weeks since Hulk Hogan‘s shocking death and his daughter Brooke Hogan is now breaking her silence on their troubled relationship.
Following Hulk’s death on July 24, rumors swirled that Brooke had been taken out of her father’s will in 2023 — and now she’s explaining why. During an unexpected appearance on the Bubba the Love Sponge Show, hosted by Hulk’s former best friend, Brooke got candid about her decision.
Looking back, Brooke says that over time, she became “scared” of the fighting that would ensue after her father’s death, fearing confrontation with her mother Linda Hogan and her father’s third wife Sky Daily.
“I was sobbing,” Brooke admitted, recalling the moment she texted her father’s money manager to remove her from the will. “I just said, take me off everything, I don’t want to be a part of it.”

Brooke, who went no contact with both of her parents, added that she had no desire to argue over money with anyone in her father’s life, especially as she believed Daily allegedly had connections to The Church of Scientology.
“I thought if I get left any money or [my brother] Nick gets left any money then, no offense, my mom has been known to find herself in the mix with things like that. And I’m like, I don’t want to fight Linda, I don’t want to fight Scientology…It scared me. And I just said, I want out,” Brooke shared.
Brooke added that after the birth of her twin babies at the beginning of the year, she truly realized that “money didn’t matter,” giving her peace about her decision.
She also noted that she had hoped that she would at least have been left in charge of her father’s intellectual property and trademarks in order to give him the best legacy possible — but that didn’t happen.
Brooke went on to stay on the line with Bubba for over an hour — even though the pair hadn’t spoken since 2011, before a sex tape leaked that featured Hulk and Bubba’s estranged wife Heather Clem. Over the course of the conversation, Brooke spoke extensively about her family, including Hulk’s concerns about his relationship with Daily.
How did Hulk Hogan die?
Hulk died at age 71 after suffering a heart attack. Through the years, the former professional wrestler had also dealt with numerous other health conditions. Medical records revealed that he had previously been diagnosed with leukemia as well as atrial fibrillation, which often can cause irregular heartbeats.
