Following Brooke’s interview, where she raised concerns over the details surrounding her father Hulk’s death, a spokesperson for the Clearwater Police Department told TMZ Sports “as previously stated, there are no signs of foul play or anything suspicious about the death.”

Brooke Hogan is questioning her dad Hulk Hogan’s cancer diagnosis after his death last month at the age of 71.
“That’s what has me puzzled because they’re saying, ‘Oh, he had leukemia,’” Brooke, 37, said during the Tuesday, August 5, episode of the radio show Bubba The Love Sponge. “And I’m like, ‘I saw his blood work every time [he had a past surgery].’”
Brooke recalled being there for all of her dad’s surgeries except his most recent heart procedure earlier this year, going on to claim that she never observed any signs her father had been diagnosed with cancer.
“One doctor, I quote, said, ‘His blood is like a 25-year-old,’” she told listeners, noting that Hulk “took the most care of his body. He was going to an anti-aging specialist.”

Brooke pointed out, “Being through all the surgeries, you have to do a blood panel before any major surgery. How didn’t nobody catch a high white blood count? That’s what bothers me the most.”
She added, “We don’t have cancer that runs in our family. It seems weird.” Brooke later revealed that while Hulk’s heart “was compromised,” she doesn’t think his final surgery “should’ve been the thing that took him out.”
News broke on July 24, that Hulk (real name Terry Gene Bollea) died after suffering cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Days earlier, Hulk’s wife, Sky Daily, denied that his health was failing. “No, he’s definitely not in a coma,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on July 18, according to PennLive. “His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true.”
Daily, who married the wrestler in September 2023, noted that he had been struggling with health issues, including “recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF).”
She wrote via social media at the time, “If you look it up, you’ll see what the last six weeks have involved … not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery.”

One week after Hulk’s sudden death, his cause of death was confirmed as death from acute myocardial infarction, most commonly known as a heart attack, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.
The docs also revealed that Hulk suffered from Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes. His cancer wasn’t public knowledge, and the diagnosis surprised many.
“I don’t know if it was absolutely necessary to do it,” Brooke said on Tuesday of her dad’s last heart procedure, confessing, “I do think it’s weird that no autopsy was performed. Because, yes you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack?”
She added: “To me the no autopsy and the leukemia out of nowhere hits me as BS.”
Prior to his passing, Brooke and Hulk were on the outs and hadn’t spoken in two years.
However, once he died, Brooke shared a heartfelt statement in honor of her late father, saying, “My dad’s blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments.”
She wrote via Instagram on July 29, “We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes.”

Brooke addressed her estrangement from her father, writing: “I had to step away to protect my heart. … We never had a ‘big fight.’ My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand.”
She explained, “My husband and I moved down to Florida to be near him. He was getting older. I wanted to be there as much as possible. We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden, he didn’t want me at surgeries … everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.”
Brooke wrote: “Prior to this, I was by my father’s side for nearly every surgery. I knew his medical history like a roadmap. When I heard about the valve surgery … I had my husband send over detailed notes from past hospital stays. I knew, deeply, what that procedure meant — it was a final option, one that might buy time, but not much more.”
