Brittany Mahomes is embracing the butter yellow trend this spring with a festive ruffle dress that features both a plunging neckline and a rather daring thigh-high slit. The WAG posted photos of the outfit while on vacation in Turks and Caicos, where she joined a group of girlfriends to celebrate Miranda Hogue’s 30th birthday. “My girl is 30,” Mahomes wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Love you so much.”

Mahomes’s dress came courtesy of Revolve, which sells the style for $289. The plunging neckline went all the way down to her waist thanks to a halter top, and meanwhile, the thigh-high slit was basically covered in ruffles from waist to ankle. Mahomes kept her makeup minimal and went barefoot on the beach.
The mother-of-three isn’t the only celebrity to commit to butter yellow this season, of course. Stepping out at Paris Fashion Week just last month, Katie Holmes debuted a new matching set in the same muted shade for the Zimmerman Womenswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show. Much like Mahomes, the Dawson’s Creek alum also opted for a plunging neckline (this time, in the form of a brown bodysuit). Layered on top, she wore a butter yellow utilitarian jacket and matching cargo pants.
