Scottie Scheffler is once again out in front with a massive lead.

The top-ranked golfer in the world cruised through Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland on Saturday and broke open what felt like a very easy four-shot lead over the field. He’s now in the perfect position to win his first ever British Open and take home the iconic Claret Jug. He’d be the only other golfer in history to be ranked No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings and win the British Open outside of Tiger Woods.

Scheffler will go off with Haotong Li on Sunday. Li went 2-under in the third round to play his way into the final group, where he’ll be the first player from China to be in the last pairing in the final day of a major in history. Matt Fitzpatrick is alone in third at 9-under.

Rory McIlroy, who had a very solid day himself with his 5-under outing, leads the group at T4. They all sit at 8-under on the week, though, so McIlroy has quite a bit of work to do if he’s going to try and claim his home major in Northern Ireland. And, even if he goes on an early run, he’ll likely need a bit of help.

Scheffler held the 54-hole lead at the previous three major championships he’s won in his career, and he’s actually won his last nine tournaments on the PGA Tour while being in that position. Undoubtedly, he’s not the man golfers should want to chase.

While the tournament is far from over, Scheffler is in place ready to add to his historic run through golf.

Here’s everything you need to know to keep up with the final round of the British Open.
