Two little girls have gone viral for their impressive wedding dance moves.
Alyssa and Nathan English got married on Sunday, March 23. One month after their nuptials, the bride reflected on her big day by posting a video of her nieces — 8-year-old Harper Byrd and 6-year-old Paisley Byrd — dancing at her wedding reception on social media.
“The stars of the dance floor,” Alyssa wrote in the caption of the video, which has gone viral on TikTok with nearly 8 million views and more than 2 million likes since being posted on April 23.
The young sisters didn’t dance like other shy children their age might have. The pair, who both wore long white formal dresses and matching white bows in their hair, walked together out onto the dance floor without any stage fright, radiating confidence.
“They went right on the dance floor on their own and were right in the middle of the dancing circle,” Alyssa tells PEOPLE.
As upbeat music blasted, the bride and groom and their wedding guests circled around Harper and Paisley, who began busting out different dance moves.
“The girls do competitive cheer and that’s where they get their dance moves and flexibility,” Alyssa tells PEOPLE. “They are very confident in it. With cheer, they perform in front of large amounts of people often.”

When the beat dropped for “1, 2 Step” by Ciara featuring Missy Elliott, the little girls jumped at the same time and landed in splits, causing an eruption of screaming and applause from all of the adult attendees.

“They did not rehearse or practice it beforehand,” Alyssa says of the synchronized splits. “They just did it right on the fly. Everyone went crazy. We all hyped them up on the dance floor all night and loved that they were out there.”
All of the dance praise in person, plus the millions of likes online, made Harper and Paisley feel “so good.”
“We did it on the beat and everyone started screaming,” they tell PEOPLE. “And now we feel famous for doing our splits at our aunt’s wedding.”

There are more than 7,000 comments underneath the TikTok dance clip commending the girls’ killer dance moves.
“Exactly why kids can’t come because why you trying to outdo me at my wedding 😂,” one commenter joked, while another wrote, “Not them hittin that split AT THE SAME TIME ON BEAT!!!!! SLAY LITTLE QUEENS!!!!!”
