Calling all Readers, Kayteighs, Publicists and Finalists! “Las Culturistas” co-hosts Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang will host the fourth annual Las Culturistas Awards, televised for the first time and airing Tuesday Aug. 5 on Bravo and streaming the next day on Peacock. The Las Culturistas Culture Awards, which evolved out of their popular podcast, celebrates “Culture’s most iconic and consequential moments of the year,” and features more than 100 categories, live musical performances and celebrity guests. “Las Culturistas” started in 2016. and has since featured guests like Mariah Carey, Tina Fey, Ariana Grande, Amy Poehler and Lady Gaga.
“The word ‘culture’ is defined as ‘the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively,’” said Rogers and Yang in a statement. “We are so thrilled to eliminate that whole ‘intellectual’ part entirely with the LCCA’s airing on Bravo and Peacock this August, alongside our partners at Lionsgate. Because while what the world needs now might be love sweet love, it also needs to see an Oscar-winning actress and a Real Housewife come together to present a very heavy award to Oprah, if we can book her. Oprah, u up?!”
