Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon Share a Tender Moment in London at ‘F1: The Movie’ Premiere originally appeared on Parade.

Brad Pitt might be the star of F1: The Movie, but at the film’s European premiere in London, it was a quiet flick of fabric handled by girlfriend Ines de Ramon that grabbed the spotlight.

Decked out in a lush green suit and aviators, Pitt played it cool when a gentle gust disheveled his silk scarf. That’s when his leading lady, in a radiant shimmering gown, reached over and deftly smoothed it back into place.

Directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and F1 legend Lewis Hamilton, the film follows Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a retired Formula 1 driver brought back to mentor rookie Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) and help salvage a struggling new team.

Unlike traditional racing movies, the production put the actors behind the wheel of modified Formula 2 cars. As The New York Times noted, there was no use of rigs or green screens — just open-wheel racing at speeds up to 200 mph.

“I think a lot of people won’t believe that they got in the cars and did what they did,” stunt coordinator Craig Dolby told the outlet. “But when you’re on track with them and doing what we did with them, it’s mind-blowing.”

Pitt trained for months with former F2 champion and lead driving choreographer Lucian Bacheta.

“The first month is just learning to trust the car,” Pitt said in the film’s production notes. “Even as every instinct in your body is screaming, ‘No! No! No! No! No! It’s gonna give way!’”

Both the North American premiere on June 16 in New York City and the European premiere on June 23 in London brought out F1 legends like Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, and co-producer Hamilton.

Spice Girl alum Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner also hit the carpet to support the film alongside the full cast: Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, and Kim Bodnia.

F1: The Movie hits U.S. theaters on Friday, June 27.
