Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is offering full refunds following the cancellation of the 2025 event.
The popular music festival, which is based in Manchester, Tenn., canceled the final two days of its festival on the weekend on Friday, June 13. Bonnaroo kicked off on Thursday, June 12; however, the main area of the festival was evacuated on Friday, June 13, at 1:30 p.m. CT, per The Tennessean.
At the time of its cancellation, the official Instagram account for the festival announced that it would be issuing refunds of 75 percent of the festival-goers’ purchases. But fans were disappointed in the festival’s initial pledge, and many signed a petition demanding a full refund.
On Monday, June 23, the festival announced it would now issue a full refund. The festival confirmed the refunds will apply to tickets purchased via Front Gate Tickets, and those who purchased all one-day Friday, Saturday and Sunday admission tickets, all one-day day parking, all four-day admission tickets and all four-day camping accommodations.

It continued by reminding festivalgoers that “everyone who works on this show loves Bonnaroo deeply. Some of us have been here since the early years, some were fans first, and some are new but fell in love with it as soon as they felt your energy and spirit on The Farm. We look forward to this show all year. It’s what reenergizes us and restores our faith in community every single summer.”
“Our main goal is to give you the most memorable weekend of your lives every year,” the statement added. “This cancellation broke our hearts beyond measure, but we knew it had to happen for your safety. Thank you for your patience and perseverance through this difficult situation.”
The recent cancellation marked the second cancellation in four years. Organizers were forced to cancel the 2021 festival, also due to the weather and flood waters that made the site unsafe, per Rolling Stone. However, that weekend was canceled before it began.

The June 23 announcement confirmed that the festival has not been rescheduled. “At this time, we will not be announcing future dates. When plans for the future take shape, you all will be the first to know,” the announcement read.
The festival’s Instagram account also posted a survey to hear from the festival-goers and what time of year they would want it to take place.
“When Bonnaroo happens each year, how that affects your experience on The Farm, and if certain times of the year might make it easier or more difficult to attend,” the post’s caption read. “We want you to be a part of this process, so we’ll keep you posted on any updates and likely ask you to weigh in on more considerations in the coming months.”

Bonnaroo kicked off on Thursday, June 12, with performances from Luke Combs, Dom Dolla, and more. The remainder of the weekend was expecting performances from Tyler, The Creator, John Summit, Glass Animals, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Wallows, Marina, Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavigne, and Justice, with Hozier, Vampire Weekend, and Queens of the Stone Age.
