Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds recently stepped out for the premiere of Another Simple Favor in New York City, and now body language experts are…out here doing their thing! In the most extra way possible.
Professional body language reader Judi James analyzed some footage of Blake and Ryan hitting their poses on the red carpet, and says their vibes were genuine and intimate, but also very PR-literate. Which, obviously, this was a red carpet after all!
“Having performed a couple of classic Hollywood power couple poses on the red carpet with Blake’s statuesque ‘Look at me I’m a Goddess’ pose and her ‘Hand of Possession’ pose with Ryan where she pressed her torso against his and placed an adoring hand of ownership on his chest, Blake and Ryan complete the trio of iconic poses with this third stalwart ‘Whispered secrets’ pose outside in the street,” Judi tells the Daily Mail. “This is a favorite pose among celeb couples wanting to look flirtatious together for the cameras. The proximity of the faces can create the suggestion in a still photo of a desire to kiss, while the whispering itself suggests an intimate, ‘sweet nothings’ hot conversation between them.”
Judi also added that “Blake and Ryan top off a blizzard of PDAs here with an intense whispering ritual where its hard to see who is whispering to who or maybe they’re both whispering at once in a multi-flirt experience. They actually end the nuzzling whispers with a moment of mouth and face closeness that creates a thirst-trap pause where it looks for one moment as though they will share a smacker before separating to work the crowds in a double-pronged PR surge.”
