Blue Ivy Carter knows who’s boss!
The 13-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z has been on the road for her mom’s Cowboy Carter Tour, showing off her dance moves onstage to plenty of praise.
And in fan-captured footage from one of her mom’s recent Los Angeles shows, Blue Ivy was filmed dancing as her mom sang her hit “Texas Hold ‘Em,” before she turned and directed her attention at a fan in the crowd holding up a sign, which she gave a thumbs up.
The sign in question was held by a woman named Eden who runs the @cozycarters fan account on Instagram. It read: “We Love U Manager Blue.”
The video caught the attention of the Beyhive, including Beyoncé’s mom and Blue Ivy’s grandmother Tina Knowles, who “liked” the post.

This isn’t the first time Blue has been referred to as the “manager” in her famous family. In April, Knowles, 71, posted a video of Blue Ivy dying her eyebrows a darker color, sharing in the clip on Instagram, “My beauty guru and my manager, Miss Blue Ivy Carter has instructed me that I need to dye my eyebrows because they have little gray streaks in them.”
In February, Knowles shared more about Beyoncé and her eldest daughter’s bond on The Jennifer Hudson Show, saying, “Her and her mother are really tight and so they don’t need me to give much advice. They tell me to mind my business.”
After performing on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, the teen has become a staple in her mom’s stage productions, also joining the “Cuff It” singer for her NFL Christmas Day halftime show, which was streamed live on Netflix. Meanwhile, at the 2025 Grammys, she went viral for the moment she encouraged her shocked mom to stand up to accept her best country album award.
“You know who wasn’t shocked? Her manager, Blue Ivy Carter. Look at Blue telling her to get up and accept the award. LOL #Beyonce #GRAMMYs,” wrote one fan on X as they shared footage of the moment.
“Manager Blue never stops being professional 👆🏾👆🏾,” another added.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy at the 2025 Grammys
Beyoncé previously shared that Blue Ivy’s time on stage was all her daughter’s doing.
“Blue is an artist,” Beyoncé told GQ in 2024. “She has great taste in music and fashion. She is a fantastic editor, painter, and actress. She has been creating characters since she was three. She’s a natural, but I did not want Blue onstage. Blue wanted it for herself. She took it seriously, and she earned it. And most importantly, she had fun! We all watched her grow more and more every night before our eyes.”
At the time, she also explained that her three kids, including 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, come with her as she travels around the world.
“My kids come with me everywhere I go,” she shared. “They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It’s natural that they would learn my choreography.”
