Blake Lively has been on quite a style streak for her Another Simple Favor press tour. On Sunday alone, she wore two totally different spring looks—a breezy Cinderella-blue dress and a butter-yellow ensemble that Beyoncé once wore.
But her latest fit—a loose yet somehow also fitted gray suit—seems to most directly channel her A Simple Favor character.
The suit is composed of a vest-like top and wide-leg pants. The top features a corseted bodice and a middle zipper, plus small white polka dots that carry onto the matching, breezy trousers.
The top’s hem is designed into two points, which sit over the pants, giving the suit a uniquely tailored menswear look.
As fans may remember from the first movie A Simple Favor, Lively’s character, Emily Nelson, loves a power suit, so as we inch closer to the film’s debut, it makes sense that the actor would deliver a sartorial ode to her on-screen persona.
The Gossip Girl star carried a knitted boho Chanel clutch in white, black, and silver, which went perfectly with her spiky silver pumps. (These may or may not be the exact same spiky shoes she wears in the Another Simple Favor trailer.)
Lively finished the look with several silver and diamond rings and one pair of bright emerald earrings that added a welcome pop of color.
Another Simple Favor comes out this Thursday, May 1, on Amazon’s Prime Video. And until then, you can bet Lively and her costars will continue to keep us entertained with their bevy of red-carpet and street style looks.
