Bindi Irwin spent her birthday surrounded by those she loves.

As she celebrated her 27th birthday on Thursday, July 24, the nature conservationist shared a video of herself and her husband Chandler Powell spinning around with their 4-year-old daughter Grace on Instagram.

In the adorable clip, the family of three could be seen laughing and twirling as they were pictured outside. Powell held up both Irwin and Grace while their friends and family off-screen could be heard laughing at the sight.

“27 today✨ The greatest gift of all is this love,” Irwin sweetly wrote in her caption.

Earlier this summer, in June, Irwin appeared on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast and shared that her daughter is already asking to feed the crocodiles at the Australia Zoo, where Irwin lives with her daughter and husband.

The daughter of the famed zookeeper also shared that Grace is starting to take after her grandpa, Steve Irwin, even though she never met him.

“There have been a lot of talks with our daughter because she’s 4 now, which is wonderful,” began Bindi. “But it also means you wanna be part of everything. So like, when we’re feeding the crocodiles, she’s like, ‘Why can’t I be there with you?’ She’s crying, ‘I just wanna feed the crocodiles!'”

“We’re like, ‘Well, this is why you can’t and why you have to wait ’till you’re 18. But it’s really that education,” Bindi continued. “And kids are so good. They’re like little sponges. They just absorb so much information.”

The proud mom said she and Powell started their daughter off slowly, letting her be around animals like tortoises, wombats and echidnas, which the parents knew she could be safe around. Bindi explained that she’s teaching Grace how to read animal cues and said she hopes to work Grace up from there.

“And that’s what my parents did with me. It was a slow progression as I got older,” Bindi said. “And then it’s kind of like becomes second nature.”

That same month, Bindi’s brother Robert Irwin shared several snaps from his recent trip to the Disneyland Resort, including one with his niece Grace on Instagram. In the adorable snap, Robert and Grace waved to the camera as they enjoyed one of the theme park’s rides.

Grace could be seen wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a floral dress, posing next to her uncle, who wore a navy button-down shirt and aviator sunglasses.

“Enjoying a well needed rest with my people,” Robert wrote in his caption. “And having the realisation that I’m always leaning in photos.”
