Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley’s new romance is the talk of the internet lately. The duo made their relationship Instagram official on Easter Sunday, sharing a sweet snap together for the first time — ever.
Shortly after, Cyrus and Hurley were forced to part ways, as she presumably flew home to London and Cyrus stayed back in Tennessee. The actress shared some videos from the airport with both she and Cyrus looking sad to leave one another.
On April 30, Cyrus posted a picture of him and Hurley kissing on a dirt path, presumably taken during the time they spent together. He wore a cowboy hat, boots, and a pair of jeans, while Hurley was in a white summer dress with a pair of ankle booties. Cyrus captioned the post with nothing but a red heart emoji. However, there was a telling message included in the post.
The country music star added a clip from his song “Missing You” to accompany the post.
“I live for the phone I die for the mail/I took your picture right off the nail/And put it right by my bed so I could see you instead/Of the darkness of night/I hold conversations with you in my mind/They only tighten this knot deep inside/And the aching won’t end till I hold you again/If I only survive,” the first verse of the song goes.
“Why did you have to go why am I missing you so/One heartbeat at a time I’m going out of my mind/Missing you missing you,” the chorus lyrics read.
Hurley popped up in the comments section, sharing a heart emoji and the word “you.”
Cyrus released “Missing You” on his 1998 album Shot Full of Love.
