Jordon Hudson is back in pageant mode!

The former college cheerleader, 24, was supported by boyfriend Bill Belichick, 73 — and appeared unbothered — at the Miss Maine USA pageant on Saturday, May 10, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay Hotel in Portland.

Hudson could be seen walking through the hotel in a pair of glitzy outfits amid the event’s morning rehearsals and corresponding interviews.

Her first look for rehearsals featured dark-and-light green pants and a matching sleeveless top, which she paired with heels and her “Hancock” sash to represent her hometown. Her second look, which she showed off in the afternoon on her way to interviews, was a Carolina blue wrap minidress with white hues and matching white heels — all of which she, again, pulled together with the sash.

Hudson’s latest outing comes amid reaction to her boyfriend Belichick’s April CBS News Sunday Mornings interview. Belichick — who is 49 years her senior — was asked during the interview about his relationship with Hudson and how they met. Hudson, who had been sitting off to the side, interrupted to sternly say he wouldn’t be answering the question.

In a statement after the interview aired, Belichick, who was recently made the head coach of UNC Tar Heels football, defended Hudson. The coach said that CBS News agreed to keep “the conversation centered on” his new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football. When the interviewer, Tony Dokoupil, asked about personal issues “several times,” he wrote, “Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.” CBS disputed claims that they agreed to his limitations.

Hudson announced her participation in the pageant in an April Instagram post. She wrote at the time, “Happy International Pageant Day 👑✨. I couldn’t think of a better day to share with the world that I will be competing for Miss Maine USA 2025; representing my hometown Hancock. 🫶🏼💜 [insert mussel shell emoji].”

Hudson, a former cheerleader at Massachusetts’ Bridgewater State University, was the first runner-up in the 2024 Miss Maine USA, held in March 2024.

Hudson’s parents, Heath and Lee, raised their family in Provincetown, Maine. Her sisters Jenna and Becca were also cheerleaders.

Hudson has been vocal about her pride in her family and their New England fisherman roots. In February, she wore a lobster-themed outfit to a Super Bowl party, and told PEOPLE exclusively at the time, “I have a message that pays homage to my family and a message that I’d like to put out there and give a little bit of recognition to the fishermen in Maine.” On her lobster purse, she wrote “Save Maine Fishermen” in rhinestones.

“They need help, and hopefully through fashion, we can bring awareness to the fact that fishermen and lobstermen in Maine are struggling,” Hudson said. “I’d like to use this national platform to bring attention to a small town issue.”

Hudson wrote in a November 2024 Instagram post that her family had a “multi-generational fishing business” that was wiped out by legislation passed by the Maine legislature. She said her father was a “9th generation fisherman,” but had to leave the industry 15 years ago.
