Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour has been full of iconic moments, but she saved the biggest surprise for last.
On Saturday, the singer wrapped up her months-long stadium tour with a grand finale in Las Vegas—and brought the house down with a Destiny’s Child reunion.
As expected, Beyoncé pulled out all the stops at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. For her final performance, the Grammy award-winner shocked the crowd by bringing out Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams—marking the group’s first live performance together since Coachella in 2018.
The trio took the stage in coordinating gold outfits complete with western-inspired chaps and platform boots. Together they performed fan favorites like “Lose My Breath” and “Bootylicious.” They also joined Beyoncé for a rendition of “Energy” from her Renaissance album.
Destiny’s Child first formed in Houston in the early ’90s under the name Girl’s Tyme, later becoming one of the most iconic girl groups of all time with hits like “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’, Jumpin’.” After Michelle Williams officially joined the group in 2000, the trio went on to win multiple Grammys before parting ways to pursue solo projects.
Despite disbanding, their sisterhood has remained strong. They have notably had several high-profile reunions over the years, including Beyoncé’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2013.
In addition to the trio’s performance, Beyoncé also brought out husband Jay-Z for “Crazy in Love” and Shaboozey for their hit “Sweet Honey Buckin’.”
And of course, her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, returned to the stage for the final time this tour—capping off a tour that will go down as one of Beyoncé’s boldest eras yet.
