Betty White’s Blunt Compliment Leaves ‘Angel’ Star Speechless originally appeared on Parade.
David Boreanaz did not escape from the quick wit and sharp tongue of Betty White, who made a memorable guest appearance in Bones.
Speaking at the inaugural Televerse Festival during the show’s 20th Anniversary Retrospective panel on Saturday, the actor fondly recalled his encounter with the legendary actress.
The Angel star candidly shared about how the late icon lit up the set with her presence, instantly lifting everyone’s spirits the moment she arrived.
According to him, she greeted the cast and crew as soon as she arrived.
“And Emily and I are waiting for her. And she’s like, ‘Good to see you. Oh, good to see you. You’re so nice. You’re so pretty.’ She goes up to Emily — ‘Oh, you’re so pretty,’” he said, recalling the time he and co-star Emily Deschanel met the seven-time Emmy Winner, as mentioned by People.

Interestingly, he was left completely stunned when the A-list legend hit him with an unexpected and hilariously explicit comment that caught him off guard.
“She looks at me, she goes, ‘Holy s—, I want to f— you. I want to f— you!’ I just started laughing,” he furthered.
White had a guest-starring role in Bones, where she portrayed Dr. Beth Mayer, an experienced forensic anthropologist.
She appeared in two episodes, once in Season 11 (episode 4) and again in Season 12 (episode 10).

Unfortunately, five years after her appearance in the Fox TV series, the actress suffered a stroke and passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Los Angeles.
White was 99 years old at the time of her passing.
