One month after hinting on social media that they might be expecting their first child together, Below Deck Mediterranean alums Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher made an exciting announcement this week.
In an interview with People, the couple revealed that Cameron is preparing to welcome their first baby — a little boy — and they couldn’t be happier.

“Honestly, it was a mix of emotions,” Cameron said, describing the way she felt when she found out she was pregnant.
“I was excited, a little scared, but mostly just overwhelmed with happiness,” she continued. “It felt surreal in the best way, like everything was about to change in the best way possible.”
As the reality star explained, so far her pregnancy has been going well (even if she’s not super comfortable at the moment).
“Feeling super bloated and like my body’s expanding by the second,” she admitted. “But overall quite well. Craving all the things I can’t have…I never wanted oysters more in my life. But it’s all so worth it.”
For now, the couple is focusing on getting their son’s nursery ready, with Gallagher paying special attention to the infant’s wardrobe.
“Nathan has made it a priority that bubs fits will be on point,” Cameron said, going on to admit that she’s “both excited and nervous.”
“It’s such a huge new chapter,” the mom-to-be explained. “There’s so much we don’t know yet, but we’re so excited to grow through it all.”
“The thought of sharing our world with our new little best friend just fills our hearts,” she added.
On March 31, Cameron and Gallagher teased their big news on social media with a video of two stick figures dancing with a baby stick figure.
“Yep, you saw that right… now go ahead and speculate 😉✨,” they captioned the post.
