Beloved ’80s Soap Opera Star, 66, Is Radiant in Cute Mini-Dress: ‘You Never Seem to Age’ originally appeared on Parade.
Plenty of long-running soap operas are still thriving today, but it’s hard for them to match the golden age of the genre in the 1980s. Among the shows that fans fell in love with during that time was Ryan’s Hope about a family who owned an Irish pub in New York City.
Marg Helgenberger played Siobhan in the series from 1982 to 1986. It was one of her earliest roles that ended up launching her career. And now, more than 40 years later, Helgenberger, who is now 66, still looks just as young as she did on the show.
Case in point: A photo the actress shared on Instagram this week that has fans asking her if she ever ages. No, it’s pretty clear this lady is timeless!

“Oh hey people! Hope you’re enjoying your summer,” Helgenberger wrote alongside a photo of herself wearing a flirty mini-dress and heels.
Her fans are loving this photo, and the comments on her post are the proof.
“Aging better than wine,” one person wrote. And that might be an understatement!
What Marg Helgenberger Is Doing Today
Though Helgenberger’s soap days are behind her, her career is still going strong. Most recently, the actress played Catherine Willows in the CSI franchise, including in CSI: Vegas, and has appeared in movies including A Dog’s Journey and Erin Brockovich.
She has been married to Charles Haugk since 2022 and is a mom to one son, Hugh Howard Rosenberg, 34, who she shares with ex Alan Rosenberg.
