The first image featured Gibson with Hogan in all their ‘80s glory. Next up was a shot of her with Mangione, followed by Osbourne rocking out like only he could do. Rounding out the social media post was a photo of Mangione and Gibson during a weekend at the White House in 1994.
“Incredible icons who brought their gifts to the mainstream and forever touched our lives!!! These Fellas … always kind. As a young girl in show biz, that’s what I will always remember. Those who provided a soft and welcoming atmosphere in a world that at times was hard to navigate for someone like me who didn’t adopt that worldly protective edge, began her caption.
Gibson asked her fans to swipe on all of the throwbacks to see her honoring the lives of three legendary men. The singer went on to explain what each man meant to her.
“I got to hang out with Chuck for a long weekend at The White House in celebration of our shared Italian American heritage circa 1994!” she wrote about Mangione.
Next up was the professional wrestler with Gibson saying, “Hulk Hogan was such a gentle giant and didn’t even make fun of my one foirè into short hair in the early 90’s😜.”
She went on to express, “I joke cuz it’s so very sad to be losing all of these legendary folks this week who helped shape the landscape or art , sports, entertainment, and pop culture. Thank you for your contributions kind Sirs !!!”
“RIP @ozzyosbourne who I did not spend time with but the gravity of lives he touched in every decade is awe inspiring. #legends #legendary #wrestling #jazzmusic Rest in Power @hulkhogan and @chuck_mangione,” ended Gibson’s throwback tribute.
