Bella Thorne and fiancé Mark Emms are engaged – again. The former Disney star popped the big question to Mark inside their living room, one year after he proposed to her.
“3 years ago we met, 1 year later he proposed, Now 1 year later so did I,” Bella, 27, captioned her Saturday, August 16, Instagram post.
The first slide of the carousel post featured a video of the moment Bella got down on one knee and asked Mark to marry her. Multicolored candles and flowers brought their living room to life, as each of them wore comfortable clothes while standing underneath their ceiling, filled with heart-shaped balloons. The second clip displayed a closer angle of the moment, focusing on Mark’s reaction. The producer crouched down on one knee in front of Bella, and held one hand over his mouth as he sat there, shocked.

The comments section was filled with an overwhelming amount of disapproval and support of Bella’s decision to propose to Mark – despite already being engaged.
“Ok ladies let’s not normalise this, okay?” one fan wrote, as a second person added, “Men don’t need more encouragement to be more energetically feminine than they already are.”
Meanwhile, a third person commented, “What the hell is wrong with proposing both sides? This is toxic [femininity] ladies.”
Bella reacted to the comments via Instagram Stories, calling the split reaction “hilarious.”
“Totally split down the middle,” the Infamous actress wrote. “Half of u are like let’s not normalize proposing to your partner – other half is like f–k yeah girl power this is the sweetest!!”
Bella and Mark met at Cara Delevingne’s birthday party in 2022, and they have been inseparable ever since. Mark proposed to the You Get Me actress in May 2023 at her home with a 10-plus-carrot ring in hand.
