Bad Bunny is back at the Met Gala!
The Puerto Rican musician, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, 31, attended fashion’s biggest night, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, for the fourth time on May 5.
He stepped out on the red carpet in a chocolate brown suit Prada with bedazzled gloves, a double-breasted suit coat, a flower brooch on his lapel, a woven hat similar in style to a Puerto Rican pava, and a leather bag paired with white shoes.
When talking to Vogue on the carpet, he said, “We worked on this look for a couple of months. We did something special. I feel good. I hope people think that I’m looking good.”

After announcing his tour today, the singer to mentioned on the carpet that the tour is “going to be a huge party” and promised it would be “mucho sentimiento.”
In October 2024, Vogue shared details on the 2025 Met Gala, announcing that Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour would be co-chairs for the event, alongside LeBron James as honorary chair. The gala, which is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on the first Monday in May, is a fundraiser for The Costume Institute and spotlights the museum’s spring 2025 exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” the theme for the gala.
Curator in Charge Andrew Bolton said that the exhibit, which is inspired by guest curator Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity, explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”
The exhibit “presents a cultural and historical examination of Black style from the 18th century to the present through an exploration of the concept of dandyism,” according to a post on the museum’s Instagram.
The Met Gala’s dress code for this year is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting. This year’s event also has a star-studded host committee that includes Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, Doechii, Regina King, Spike Lee, Usher and Angel Reese.

The Puerto Rican musician attended the Met Gala for the third time last year, serving as co-chair alongside Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya and Wintour.
His look at last year’s event paid homage to Sleeping Beauty and his home country, tying into the theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” He arrived in a Maison Margiela Artisanal Collection by John Galliano ensemble consisting of a navy washed barathea wool smoking jacket worn over a black satin corset. He accessorized with an oversize puffy beret with floral details and leather gloves. He also carried a black rose.
