Just over a year ago, a then-23-year-old Zane Li graduated from FIT and launched his label, LII, with a Fall 2024 collection that proved him to be one of the most promising new voices in the New York fashion scene. Now, with a couple of collections under his belt, Li is getting the stamp of approval from none other than fashion darling Ayo Edebiri.
With the help of her stylist, Danielle Goldberg, the Bear star was seen modeling a dress from the LII Fall 2025 collection in a new series of photos on Instagram.

Edebiri’s outfit featured stacks of layers that looked like a T-shirt, skirt, sweater, and dress all in one. Her frock looked almost nautical, as it was composed of shades of red, blue, gray, and white, with a silhouette that was relaxed and draping like a flag.

Along the torso, a bright red sleeveless shell sat on top of an oversized blue tee that pooled around the actor’s waist and created tiny cap sleeves that peeked out from beneath the tank. Then, a white A-line skirt billowed from beneath and was flanked by two snaking gray flaps that hung like wings at rest.
Back in 2024, Li told Harper’s Bazaar that despite the unusual materials he uses to construct his clothing, he favors wearability. “I really like classic femme, feminine shapes, but I also like the practicality, the versatility, and the ease in menswear,” he said. With his clothes, Li tends to embrace unusual materials, while crafting structural, surprising forms that hold their shape no matter what.
Edebiri sported the playful look while attending the SeriousFun Children’s Network gala in New York City on Monday evening. Ahead of the ceremony, Edebiri showed off the look on her Instagram Story, putting it best when she wrote: “Something seriously fun for SeriousFun.”
