Singer Avril Lavigne, 40, just kicked off her “Greatest Hits Tour” 2025, and her first show was yesterday, May 20, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s a continuation of the tour, which began in 2024, and fans who were lucky enough to score tickets to the show couldn’t wait to see her.
And while she no doubt did perform those beloved greatest hits (hence the tour name), including “Complicated,” “When You’re Gone,” and “Sk8er Boi,” she graced fans with an unexpected little number in the form of a cover of a highly popular song. Give it a listen.
Something tells us Chappell Roan would be proud of this one! “Pink Pony Club” is one of the catchiest tunes out there right now, and plenty of artists jump at the chance to sing it.
Country music artist Keith Urban recently sang his version, and fans went wild.
People who heard Lavigne’s version were equally as enthused. One fan admitted that the performance “gave me chills,” and another said, “I just know Chappell’s losing it right now.”
Amazon Music couldn’t help but weigh in, saying, “This fits her voice SO well omg??? Obsessed.”

Concert goers in Halifax definitely got a treat last night. If there were ever any doubt about just how multi-talented Lavigne is, this video of her on the drums should settle it.
