Matthew McConaughey and Austin Butlerjoined forces this week for some seriously swoon-worthy photos on the red carpet.
While attending a special screening of the new movie Caught Stealing in Texas on Wednesday night, the two actors looked like they could be related as they rocked noticeably similar outfits for their red carpet photo op.

Matthew McConaughey and Austin Butler Look Like Twins on the Red Carpet
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, both McConaughey, 55, and Butler, 33, were dressed in suave blue and white outfits as they attended the special screening event, which took place at the Alama Drafthouse in Austin, Texas.
In the photos, the Elvis actor could be seen wearing a faded blue button-down shirt with a simple white V-neck underneath, both tucked in to a pair of dark blue trousers.
As for McConaughey, the True Detective actor was clad in a pinstriped blue suit jacket in almost the exact same shade as Butler’s garb. He, too, was wearing a white shirt underneath, which was left partially unbuttoned to reveal his bare chest.
McConaughey Lends His Support to Butler
Even though McConaughey isn’t a cast member on the new film, he appeared to be in attendance at Wednesday’s event to show his support for Butler.
The two actors could be seen smiling and embracing one another as they posed together for the cameras on Wednesday night, while McConaugheyalso joined Butler and the director of Caught Stealing, Darren Aronofsky, for a Q+A session on stage.
What is Caught Stealing About?
The new crime thriller Caught Stealing follows the story of washed-up high school basketball star Hank Thompson (played by Butler), who “unexpectedly finds himself embroiled in a dangerous struggle for survival amidst the criminal underbelly of 1990s New York City, forced to navigate a treacherous underworld he never imagined,” per IMDb.

Along with Butler, who plays the lead character, Caught Stealing also stars Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Bad Bunny, Regina King, Vincent D’Onofrio, Carol Kane, Liev Schreiber and more.
