Aubrey Plaza mastered the art of layering patterns—the same pattern, really—as she stepped out for a screening of Honey Don’t at Metrograph in New York City last night.
The actor was clad in Saint Laurent as she doubled down on cherry-red plaid for the evening. Her relaxed, cabin-vibes button-up, in a red-and-white plaid pattern, was given a hint of romance via a ribbon tie at the neck and cinched bell sleeves. Plaza tucked the shirt into a wrap-around midi skirt in bold red-and-black plaid.
The Office alum broke up the two plaids with a black leather belt, and to match, she slipped on a pair of knife-sharp heels in an inky black, also from Saint Laurent.
Diamond earrings and rings further elevated her night out look, and for glam, she stuck to her signature black liner and a glossy rouge rip.
Plaza walked the carpet solo as well as with Honey Don’t costar Margaret Qualley, who instead of opting for patterns, went sleek in a little black dress. Staying minimalist, the Happy Gilmore 2 star wore the skintight, spaghetti-strap mini with strappy black heels and diamond stud earrings. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ballerina bun.
Plaza amd Qualley star in Honey Don’t with Chris Evans. The film sees small-town private investigator Honey O’Donahue (played by Qualley) probing a series of strange deaths that are tied to a mysterious church. It will be released on August 22.
