Los Angeles, California, has become a flashpoint for anti-ICE riots, and protests are starting to arise in other cities across the country.

New York City is emerging as another hotspot for anti-ICE demonstrations, leading to around 24 arrests after protesters occupied Trump Tower in Manhattan Monday, according to Axios.

Alongside the Big Apple, anti-ICE demonstrations are becoming increasingly common in certain Texas cities, the outlet reported.

Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston have all reportedly seen protesters take to the streets.

The protests in San Antonio and Houston appeared to be peaceful, according to the Texas Tribune.

However, at least one person was arrested at the demonstration in Dallas, CBS News reported. Police used tear gas to disperse protesters in Austin, according to NBC 24 News.

In Santa Ana, a city in Orange County, protesters turned violent and allegedly threw objects at local law enforcement.

This led to federal agents using crowd control measures, including tear gas, pepper balls and rubber bullets, according to a statement posted by the Santa Ana Police Department on X.

In San Francisco, a demonstration became violent and resulted in police officers sustaining injuries and vandalism, according to a social media statement from the San Francisco Police Department.

The emerging demonstrations come in the wake of the National Guard and the U.S. Marines’ deployments to help quell the riots rattling Los Angeles, which occurred after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeted illegal immigrants.

Trump administration officials including border czar Tom Homan have defended ICE’s activity.

“Every day in L.A., we’re going to enforce immigration law. I don’t care if they like it or not,” Homan said in a Saturday interview with NBC News.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth also spoke out in defense of the Marines working alongside federal agents and local law enforcement to control the rioters.

“We have an obligation to defend federal law enforcement officers — even if Gavin Newsom will not,” he said in a Monday X post.
