Apple TV+ shows no signs of ending its current hot streak. Though the streamer has found success launching brand new series of late, Apple TV+ also announced today that two of its biggest existing hit shows are returning for new seasons this summer.
Slow Horses season 5 coming this summer
One of the most beloved Apple TV+ series, Slow Horses, is coming back soon.
Though a specific date is pending, Slow Horses season 5 has set a summer arrival.
Last year, the show’s fourth season debuted in early September. Though that technically could qualify as summer by the strictest definition of the calendar, it seems Apple’s targeting an earlier date and we’ll get a new season after less than a year’s wait.

This darkly funny espionage drama follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes. Led by their brilliant but irascible leader, the notorious Jackson Lamb (Academy Award winner Gary Oldman), they navigate the espionage world’s smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.

The Morning Show season 4 sets summer debut too
The long-time Apple TV+ flagship series, The Morning Show, is coming back soon as well.
The Morning Show season 4 is also premiering this summer, specific date TBD.
Apple’s star-packed TV drama has been around since Apple TV+ first launched, and built a strong following over the years. Its third season debuted in September 2023.
Here’s Apple’s description of The Morning Show:
“The Morning Show” explores the cutthroat world of morning news and the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning. In season three, the future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.
Season 4 adds Oscar winner Marion Cotillard to the cast alongside the existing stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and more. It will reportedly get into topics like AI, DeepFakes, and modern misinformation struggles.
