He may be a big time movie star — and Broadway star, starring in musicals like Hamilton, In the Heights and more — in 2025, but Anthony Ramos‘ life wasn’t always in the spotlight.
On TODAY With Jenna & Friends, Ramos sat down with Jenna Bush-Hager and her guest co-host, Matt Rogers, to chat about his newest project, The Bad Guys 2, but it’s safe to say the conversation went astray…
While a majority of the discussion was centered around his new movie, fans could not help but chuckle when the conversation shifted to Ramos’ first job “working in intimates.” Keep scrolling to see what he had to say exactly.
” We have to talk about your first job. Is it true that you were worked at Victoria’s Secret?” Bush-Hager asked Ramos, to which he swiftly concurred, “I worked at Vicky’s” (short for Victoria’s Secret) — how wild is that?
“I was working in intimates, and I had a smooth transition to beauty, because obviously, you know, you can’t measure, right? So you gotta pass ’em off to your colleague,” he explained.
Then, the New York native shared some of his bra knowledge: “So it’s summertime, you like to wear tank tops, so we got the racerback for you, but we got gel lining if you need. We got full coverage or we got demi, whatever you prefer. Memory foam, no memory foam, whatever.”
Nevertheless, he concluded, “I was there for like three months, but I was picking up quick… Then I moved over to beauty, and then I started learning about all perfumes and the lotions and things, so I’m like, ‘Oh, you know, we got this one. There’s a hint of peach with a dab of vanilla.'”
Sharing a series of laughs with one another, it’s safe to say that the discussion between Ramos, Bush-Hager and Rogers was as hilarious as can be!
