Anthony Anderson is the latest celebrity to suffer a home invasion.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that officers responded to an alarm call at 12:31 a.m. local time on Monday, May 19, on the 4500 block of Encino Avenue in Los Angeles’ Encino neighborhood. Per department policy, authorities did not confirm the name(s) of the residents, but property records reviewed by EW show that the home belongs to Anderson.
NBC Los Angeles reported that the home of the G20 star, who shares children Kyra, 28, and Nathan, 25, with ex Alvina Stewart, was broken into by three men, but it’s unclear if anything was taken. The investigation is ongoing, and arrests haven’t been made yet in connection with the case.

The Black-ish actor reportedly told ABC7 that he was at the Anthony and Alvina Anderson Charitable Support Foundation’s fundraiser in Palm Springs raising money for students at Howard University, his alma mater, when he learned about the break-in.
Representatives for Anderson declined to offer any additional comments to EW.
Celebrity couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban recently went through a similar experience when when their Beverly Hills home was burglarized on Valentine’s Day. The couple’s home was the latest amid a string of break-ins around the wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood. Kidman and Urban were not at their residence at the time.

The Los Angeles Times also noted that the incident at Kidman and Urban’s home follows an uptick in break-ins in the area, including the Feb. 5 home invasion of Los Angeles Football Club striker Olivier Giroud, which resulted in around $500,000 worth of materials stolen from the French player’s house.
