Filming for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is officially underway, and if the behind-the-scenes shots are any indication, it is sure to be chock-full of winning fashion that will give the first film a run for its money.
Just yesterday, Anne Hathaway—who is reprising her role as Andy Sachs—teased the production with a couple of posts on her social media. One upload was an Instagram photo that saw her wearing a very Miranda Priestly-coded ensemble, while another was a TikTok video where she was seen brushing her teeth before heading to set, all while wearing a cerulean sweater (because, obviously).
Now, the Oscar winner has given us another glimpse at her character’s fashion evolution, and it seems that Andy Sachs has found her stride.
Her character’s latest look consisted of a scoop-neck, colorblock dress that made Hathaway look like a walking stained glass art piece. The sleeveless gown stemmed from the Gabriela Hearst spring 2025 collection, and it was covered in pink, blue, yellow, and purple rectangles that varied in size and orientation, sort of like a Mondrian painting. Each block was also outlined in thick, brown woven trim.
To complete the look, Hathaway wore a cream crochet bucket hat from Shebobo, which was decorated with fuzzy pink trim. And it seems that Andy is keeping up with all the cool-girl brands, because she also slid on a pair of brown platform sandals from Chloé.
Later on set, Hathaway was seen filming a scene where she rolled a Bric’s Bellagio carry-on in navy, which she stacked with a sequined Fendi handbag and a carrying bag adorned with the name of the fictional Runway magazine.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, and while details of the plot have been scant, we do know that most of the main cast from the original film will return, including Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci. And it seems that their enviable fashion is making its triumphant return too.
