A new chapter for The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be underway soon.
On the August 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen chatted with Las Culturistas podcast hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers.
“We need answers about New Jersey,” Rogers said on the show. “I am an American standing on American ground and while we still have free speech, you’re on notice Andy Cohen.”
Cohen jokingly tried to avoid the question by turning his chair around, but Rogers pressed on.
“We need to know what is happening with the women of New Jersey,” Rogers said, adding that he thinks that Housewives OG Teresa Giudice should get her own spinoff and that RHONJ should continue on focusing on the other women.
“God bless,” he said, as if to wish Giudice well. “But I feel we have a show here. I miss my girls, I want my Jersey back.”

In just two words, Cohen shared the update that many Jersey fans have been hoping to hear.
“We’re close,” he said.
RHONJ has been on pause since the end of the 14th season, which ended without a reunion. The women seemingly formed two distinct friend groups, one side being Team Giudice with the other Team Gorga, showing their loyalty to Giudice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. And then, of course, there was Dolores Catania who has remained friends with both sides.
With Giudice and Gorga on the outs and both refusing to work things out on camera or otherwise, it put the franchise in a bind. Cohen didn’t share any details about what might have been worked out, but it does sound like a 15th season of New Jersey could start filming in the coming months. As for who will be part of the cast? That remains to be seen.
