“Testing out retirement vehicles to get me around the Fleamarket. #carbonfootprint,” Wolfe captioned his update.

In the clip, the history fanatic sat on an old tricycle as he pedaled and steered the contraption with a single lever.

Those who spotted the word “retirement” in his post likely panicked but then breathed a sigh of relief after re-reading it and realizing Wolfe wasn’t announcing his retirement from American Pickers. (Whew!)

After getting over the initial shock, plenty of Instagram users chimed in with their reactions in comments to his “retirement” mode of transportation. Many of them were in tears from laugh-crying.

One follower shared, “Great idea. Let me know how they work and what you recommend 😉😂.”

Another quipped, “Perfect old guy transportation, I want one for future use of course 😁.”

Someone else declared, “You’re not ready for that yet!! 😜,” as another commented on the sound the tricycle made, writing, “Lotta cracking and a popping sounds like bacon in a pan 😂😂😂😂.”

“Pop a wheelie Mike!!” a different fan demanded.

Meanwhile, Wolfe’s American Pickers co-star Danielle Colby commented, “😂.”

One week prior, Wolfe closed his Antique Archaeology store for good in Nashville. He also recently revealed a brand new History Channel show as well as a new movie.

Colby announced a big career move of her own in recent weeks as she and Wolfe continue filming for another season of American Pickers—at least for now!
