Amal Clooney knows how to celebrate.
The human rights lawyer joined Karlie Kloss and more in Osaka, Japan, to celebrate the third edition of the 2025 Cartier Women’s Initiative Impact Awards, where nine extraordinary entrepreneurs are honored for their contributions to “reshaping our world.”
Kloss shared a photo from their evening on Instagram alongside a carousel of pictures from her trip abroad. She reflected on the event in her post, “First time in Osaka — the perfect place to celebrate bold ideas and brilliant women!”
“The @cartierawards are more than a ceremony — they’re a celebration of purpose-driven innovation and the power of female entrepreneurship,” she added. “I’m deeply inspired by Cyrille and the entire @cartier team for their leadership and unwavering commitment to championing this global force for good for the past 19 years. And to the visionary women leading with courage and purpose — thank you for boldly building the world you want to see.”
For the outing, Clooney wore a reflective, shimmering gold cap sleeve gown covered entirely in sequins and intricate beadwork. Up top, the dress featured a subtle plunging neckline, with the embellishments arranged to mimic a corset effect, creating the illusion of structure without any visible boning.
The geometric beading continued throughout the gown in art deco–inspired patterns and contoured her silhouette. She paired the bold look with gold pointed-toe heels and a metallic clutch. Clooney also added small accessories such as drop earrings and a thin watch.
Kloss slipped into a black off-the-shoulder midi dress with a slight mermaid tail. She paired her dark-toned ensemble with pointed-toe heels in the same hue and a tiny black bag with gold hardware.
