Former Hüsker Dü and Sugar frontman Bob Mould just announced that he’s going on a solo electric tour to promote his 15th studio album, Here We Crazy.
“We, the band, spent the past six weeks performing sets focused on the music we recorded together since 2012,” Mould, 64, said in a press release, per Ultimate Classic Rock.
“Now, with the announcement of new Solo Electric shows, I’m looking forward to adding deeper cuts from my career songbook. The volume will be a touch quieter than the band shows, but the intensity will remain the same. Looking forward!” the “See a Little Light” artist added.
Mould’s solo electric shows will kick off in Cincinnati on September 9 with the final performance on October 11 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mould has been a staple of the hardcore punk and alternative rock scene since the late ‘70s. After getting his start with Hüsker Dü, he formed Sugar in the early 1990s.
Though he hasn’t been heavily awarded throughout his career, Mould is often cited for influencing the sounds of Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Green Day.
