This weekend was a big one for sport and fashion alike. The Formula One Grand Prix returned to Miami on Friday, and with it brought not only the thrills of the race, but major celebrity cameos, stadium fashion, exciting motorsports collaborations, and, of course, plenty of star-studded parties.
In a moment when race car drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen have become A-listers in and out of the track, and even style icons (don’t forget Hamilton flew to New York City right after the GP to co-chair the 2025 Met Gala), seeing them compete is a luxurious affair. Hamilton even showed up to race day in a head-to-toe Marni look styled by Eric Mcneal.
To add to the glamour, Louis Vuitton created the incredible trophy trunks for the winning prize, continuing the fashion house’s 10-year partnership with F1.
Once the races wrapped from Friday to Sunday, bashes all over Miami took place. In collaboration with AmEx, Carbone Beach hosted lavish, star-studded dinners—guests of which included Sophia bush, Winnie Harlow, Olivia Jade, and Bethenny Frankel, among others—with talked-about celebrity performers, including Jelly Roll, T-Pain, Lauryn Hill, and Wyclef Jean. Meanwhile, Soho House threw Hamilton a private bash with a performance by 50 Cent, and later, a party headlined by Tyga. And Cadillac brought out Janelle Monáe for a DJ session.
Miami’s Fontainebleau threw a happy hour with Heineken ahead of Sunday’s race day, and celebrity-frequented nightclub E11even had surprise performances by Seal and 50 Cent.
