If there’s one thing TikTok can’t get enough of, it’s a foodie beauty trend. Take butter skin, jam lips, or blueberry milk nails, for example. So naturally, when the Bazaar team spotted Bella Hadid’s new blonde hair color, which she debuted at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in France, we couldn’t help but compare the blonde hue to some of our favorite snacks.
The model first showcased her new color as she entered her hotel in Cannes, in an all-white ensemble accompanied by a sandy blonde updo. It wasn’t until Hadid stepped onto the Cannes Film Festival red carpet that we got a real glance at her new hair, a multi-faceted blonde hue that resembles a pecan sandie cookie, caramel, and yellow cake all at once. We went straight to the source to figure out the edible inspiration—Hadid’s colorist Jacob Schwartz, the U.S. Hair Color Trend Ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional.
“We wanted to create a tone that felt elevated and timeless, but still fresh for the Riviera,” Schwartz exclusively tells Bazaar. “Bella’s supermodel blonde is the perfect balance of warmth and shine—it feels sunkissed, effortless, and incredibly chic.”
Schwartz is responsible for other noteworthy blondes, like Margot Robbie and Sydney Sweeney, so he’s no stranger to creating unique blonde hues—akin to Hadid’s cool and warm-toned shade.

“The golden undertones complement her complexion beautifully as this color plays effortlessly into her natural hair color,” he adds.
Since it’s just a matter of time before TikTok starts to pair Hadid’s color with a delicious treat, we came up with a few food names that Hadid’s new color resembles. Butter yellow first came to mind, not only because it’s the color of the season but also because the warm hues Schwartz created, using Schwarzkopf’s Igora Vario Blond Super Plus on ultra-thin sections, resemble the popular shade.
However, other sections of Hadid’s hair are more brown and sandy, like a shortbread—more specifically a Pecan Sandie. To get this cooler, sandy shade, Schwartz carefully painted four shades of the brand’s Igora Vibrance twice during the lowlight phase to give that darker, cooler dimension. “The soft, hand-painted dimension adds movement with a pop of brightness enhancing her natural elegance. It’s modern Hollywood glamour with a European edge,” Schwartz says.
The food hair color names are endless, and while they may make us hungry, they also serve as the perfect inspiration for the next time you see your colorist or want to recreate Hadid’s sunkissed Cannes blonde.
