All About WWE Couple Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins’ Daughter Roux Lopez

Pro wrestler Rebecca Quin may be known in the ring as Becky Lynch, and her husband Colby Lopez may be Seth Rollins, but to their daughter, they’re just mom and dad.

The Irish athlete knew that she “always, always wanted kids,” but wasn’t sure how she would make that happen amid her massive WWE fame.

“I’m just so career-focused that it became one of those things that, when you’re chasing a dream for so long, I always wondered, ‘Am I going to get around to it? Is it going to happen for me?’ “ she told PEOPLE in May 2020.

That all changed when she met her six-time world champion beau. “When we got together, things started to look a lot clearer and I knew he was the person that I wanted to have kids with,” she shared. “That this was going to happen and it was just a matter of when.”

“When” came in December 2020, when the Raw icon and Rollins welcomed their baby girl, Roux. From then on, everything changed for the professional wrestler.

Rollins, for his part, was equally thrilled about being a father. “It’s one of those things where you never know when you’re going to be ready for something like that, but as soon as it happened, I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m ready to go, man,’ ” he told PEOPLE in August 2020. “Let’s do this thing.”

Lynch and Rollins revealed they were expecting in May 2020

In May 2020, Lynch and Rollins shared that they were expecting their first child together.

“I took the first [pregnancy test] wrong,” Lynch told PEOPLE. “Then I took a few more tests until I got a digital one that just said the word ‘Pregnant.’ I was with Seth at the time and he just threw his hands up in the air, all excited!”

Lynch admitted that becoming a mom made her a little “nervous,” telling PEOPLE at the time, “You’ve lived your whole life as thinking for yourself and yourself alone. Now you have this whole other person that you have to look after and grow, and make sure that you’re doing everything that you possibly can to make sure that they are the healthiest and the safest that they can be.”

“But we’re just so, so excited,” she added. “Just so excited for how much love we’re going to give that little thing.”

Roux was born in December 2020

The couple’s daughter arrived on Dec. 4, 2020. “Welcome to the world Roux,” Lynch wrote beside a photo of the wrestlers holding their baby girl’s hand. “You are the love of our lives.”

The post revealed the little girl’s name and sex for the first time.

Lynch experienced post-weaning depression

While Lynch didn’t initially struggle with postpartum depression, things started to feel off a couple of years later when she stopped breastfeeding her daughter. It began with feeling “on edge,” she shared on a 2023 episode of the After the Bell podcast, but quickly got worse.

“It kind of got really, really dark for a few months and I was in a really bad spot,” she said in the interview. “It was kind of one of those things where you’re trying to pull yourself out of it, because you know mentally, ‘God, I’ve got a great life. I’ve got a great husband. I’ve got a great baby, and I’m doing this thing at the highest level that I love.’ But no reasoning with yourself was able to overcome that level of depression.”

Lynch went on to share that she struggled to understand her feelings because she didn’t know post-weaning depression “was a thing” until she discovered the tools to treat it.

A foot injury during WrestleMania forced her to take some time off, which she called a blessing in hindsight.

“When you go, go, go, you can be so distracted but you realize that you’re getting quite explosive, that you just kind of get on with it. So, I really had to face it and learn how to deal with it,” she said.

Roux attended her parents’ 2021 wedding

After getting engaged in August 2019, Lynch and Rollins planned to marry in May 2020, but they postponed the wedding amid the pandemic. When they found out they were expecting in April 2020, they had no problem waiting to get married until their little one could attend.

“We’ll get around to that,” Lynch told PEOPLE of the eventual wedding. “There’s no rush, and now we’ll have a little flower girl or a page boy.”

Roux did end up being the guest of honor at her parents’ wedding when they finally tied the knot in June 2021.

Roux is already an experienced traveler

Roux may only be a tot, but she’s already done more traveling than most adults! “The biggest props must go to this little angel who’s traveled all over the world with us being an absolute trooper, and reminding us always of what’s truly important,” Lynch wrote in an August 2022 post that showed Roux being silly on a plane.

Rollins and Lynch shared in a January 2024 GQ Sports interview that Roux goes “everywhere” with her parents and has already been “all over the world.” The duo have become pros at keeping their little one happy and occupied, and their No. 1 tip is simply bringing an iPad along.

“I’m not proud of it, but it works,” Lynch admitted, adding that Roux loves watching YouTube. Unfortunately, one popular children’s show had to be put on the no-play list. “We had to ban Peppa Pig,” said the athlete. “Peppa Pig was making her go wild.”

With so much travel, the parents have found themselves in a few sticky situations — including forgetting a change of clothes one time.

Because there were no children’s clothing stores in the airport, the two had to get creative. “I had to run into the Spanx store and get the tiniest pair of booty shorts that doubled as shorts,” Lynch said. “It worked. It was all there was!”

Roux is becoming a little star

Roux may be small, but she already has a big personality. Lynch and Rollins have even started featuring her in some of their WWE content. In September 2023, she posed with her mom rocking her NbeXT merch, and in February 2024, she made an appearance as Lynch’s tiny-but-mighty personal trainer in a funny video.

“The goal is getting bigger. The training is getting better. The trainer is getting badder,” Lynch wrote beside the clip promoting the upcoming WrestleMania event.

The whole family stepped out on the red carpet for the premiere of Moana 2 in November 2024, and Roux rocked a fluffy red and pink dress for the special occasion.

Lynch and Rollins’ priorities changed after becoming parents

Lynch has always been passionate about her career, but as soon as she learned she was pregnant, she knew things would change.

“It’s just such a joyous time and then such a sad time too,” she told PEOPLE in May 2020. “I loved this and I’ve given my life to this.”

Rollins also acknowledged that the transition was complicated for his wife. “She’s the hardest working person I’ve ever met, so she wants to always be productive,” he told PEOPLE in August 2020. “That’s what gives her purpose on a day-to-day basis. So it’s been crazy for her.”

The WWE champion opened up in May 2025 about how fatherhood shifted his priorities as well, sharing in a video for the Chicago Bears that being Roux’s dad changed his day-to-day life.

“I can’t just lay in bed all day. I’ve got to get up and be dad, enjoy that process, and be that for her,” he said. “We both gotta be up and at ’em for a little 4-and-a-half-year-old because [Roux] runs the house. That’s for sure.”
