Ozzy Osbourne was not only a legendary rock star, but also a doting grandfather to 10 grandchildren.
The Black Sabbath frontman died on July 22, at 76 years old, after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” his family said in a statement, per The Guardian. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
While Osbourne was known for his music and later reality TV ventures, he was also a family man with five children. Osbourne welcomed his first two children — Jessica and Louis — with his first wife, Thelma Riley, whom he was married to from 1971 to 1982. He also adopted Riley’s son, Elliot. He later became a grandparent to Jessica’s kids, Isabelle, Kitty and Harry, and Louis’ kids, Elijah and Maia.
In 1982, he married his then-manager, Sharon Osbourne, and they had three children together: daughters Aimee Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne. Jack is the father to four children: Pearl, Andy, Minnie and Maple. Meanwhile, Kelly is the mother to one son named Sidney.
In May 2024, Kelly gushed to PEOPLE about how much Sidney loves going to his grandparents’ house.
“They are the best,” she said at the time. “Every time I go over there, my mom bought him a new little outfit or something and my dad just adores him, thinks he’s the coolest guy ever. And they have a really, really sweet relationship.”

The rockstar became a grandfather for the first time when his daughter Jessica welcomed Isabelle in 2002.
Although Jessica and her family keep themselves out of the spotlight, she told Ozzy that he was a grandfather for the first time during an episode of The Osbournes, according to E! News.
Kitty Hobbs
Jessica went on to welcome Kitty Hobbs, another daughter.

Maia Osbourne
Ozzy’s son from his first marriage, Louis, is a father to two children. He and his wife, Louise Osbourne, got married in December 2003.
Louis and Louise welcomed their first child, a daughter named Maia Osbourne, in July 2006. Louise celebrated Maia’s 19th birthday on July 12, 2025, by posting a throwback photo of Maia with her dad.
“Happy 19th Birthday to my darling Maia. I’m beyond blessed to have you as my daughter and excited to watch you grow into a kind and caring human,” she captioned the post. “Love you to the moon baby girl.”
Louis leads a fairly private life, but he told Birmingham Live in 2012, “Dad is great, very much a doting grandad.”
Elijah Osbourne
Louis and Louise went on to welcome a second child, a son named Elijah Osbourne, in September 2008. On Sept. 15, 2023, Louise celebrated Elijah’s 15th birthday by posting several photos of Elijah from when he was a child.
“My baby turned 15 today. I love this smart, compassionate and funny boy beyond words,” she captioned the post.

Jack Osbourne, who is Ozzy and Sharon’s youngest child, became a father when he and his first wife, Lisa Stelly, welcomed daughter Pearl Clementine Osbourne on April 24, 2012.
Sharon announced the news by writing on X at the time, “Today I witnessed my first grandchild being born, life changing experience. She is an angel.”
Pearl has appeared on both the Osbourne family’s social media pages and on her dad and grandfather’s History Channel series, Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour. In 2016, Jack told PEOPLE that she was a fan of both the outdoors and scary movies.
“She loves the outdoors, so she takes after me a little bit,” Jack said at the time. “I take her camping as much as I can and take her outdoors. We need that … She loves being scared, I think, so she really likes Halloween, but yet she’s terrified.”
In 2014, Sharon told PEOPLE, “She’s divine. She’s fearless.” Prior to Ozzy’s death, Jack took his family to see Ozzy perform in July 2025.
Andy Rose Osbourne
Jack welcomed his second daughter with Stelly, Andy Rose Osbourne, on June 13, 2015. In 2021, Jack called Andy a “very unique individual.”
On The Tamron Hall Show, Jack revealed one of her unique attributes was that she decided she “just didn’t want to wear clothes anymore” when she was 3 years old.
“So it started with no shoes and then no socks, and then no pants or skirts or dresses, and then no T-shirt and then she decided that diapers were fire,” he recalled.
However, Andy outgrew the habit, and Jack told PEOPLE in 2018 that she enjoyed wearing gowns “like she’s going to a quinceañera every day.”

On Feb. 3, 2018, Jack and Stelly welcomed their youngest daughter, Minnie Theodora Osbourne. Minnie’s middle name, Theodora, resembles the name Theo, which was the name Jack and Stelly gave to their unborn child in 2013 before she had a late-term miscarriage in her second trimester.
Jack celebrated Minnie’s first birthday in February 2019 and posted a sweet photo of the little one shoving birthday cake in her mouth.
“My little ray of light turned one on Sunday,” he captioned the Instagram post. “She’s such a blessing and it been so much fun getting to know her over the last year. She’s sweet and playful and loves her big sisters so much. She’s quite possibly the best cuddler for her age. I can’t wait to see what magic will come from her as she circles the sun for another time. Minnie I love you with all my heart.”

In 2019, Jack and Stelly finalized their divorce, and he moved on with his now-wife, Aree Gearhart.
The couple got engaged in December 2021 and welcomed their first child together, daughter Maple Artemis Osbourne, on July 9, 2022.

Ozzy and Sharon’s middle child, daughter Kelly Osbourne, is a mother to one child, son Sidney. Kelly welcomed her first child with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson in November 2022.
“I’m a mom now, I love it,” she told E! News in September 2023. “It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
Kelly posted the first photo of Sidney on her Instagram Stories in March 2023 and showed her holding her newborn. A second photo showed her brother Jack also having fun with his newest nephew.
In 2024, Kelly told PEOPLE that she would be raising her son in the same way she was.
“We were a musical family were always on tour, and I grew up on the road,” she told PEOPLE. “For me, that was a beautiful experience, and it’s one that I can also give to Sidney. He’ll get to travel the world, meet all sorts of people, get exposure to art and music and science and things he never would see if he wasn’t traveling the world.”
Kelly also shared a rare insight into Sidney’s relationship with Ozzy and revealed the piece of clothing they both loved.
“He loves all my dad’s hats, and so the first thing he wants to do when he gets to my parents’ house is run into the kitchen and sit on my dad’s lap,” she told PEOPLE in May 2024. “And in the kitchen, my dad, they have a library bookshelf that has a ladder on it and the old school library bookshelves. And on the ladder, my mom has these hats that are there for decoration and he just has to go in and try every single hat on and take it off. He sits there and he laughs with my dad, and then he will go up and see my mom.”
