Taking to Instagram to reveal the transformation, Ireland showed off her new half-sleeve featuring a huge portrait of Ghostface from the Scream franchise alongside a menacing hand gripping a knife.

“No one gets in the Halloween spirit quite like meeeeeeeeee big ole tattoo cover up by @eddievtattoos,” Ireland captioned a clip of her fresh ink, done by tattooist Edwardo Vazquez.
While plenty of followers praised the impressive artwork, others were upset to see the Bowie tribute disappear. One heartbroken fan replied, “It’s beautiful but you shouldn’t have done that cover up.”
Another simply stated, “That’s scary bro,” while someone else questioned the dramatic, “Ziggy Stardust swapped for the Scream ghost, why?”
However, Ireland had a compelling reason for the dramatic change. Responding directly to concerned fans in the comments, she explained, “For everyone (weirdly) panicking about my David Bowie tattoo being covered up, I’m getting him somewhere else. The person who did that one is a terrible person. So I don’t want that on my body!”
This latest addition joins Ireland’s extensive tattoo collection, which includes a mix of designs along her arms — from arrows and written words to fangs, skeletons and countless other pieces.
